This chalice is still in regular use at Mass in the Cathedral. It is not known how it came to the church; unlike many chalices and other sacred vessels it bears no inscription, though it is likely that it was donated by a benefactor at some stage..JPG)
Around the base there are six scenes: the Annunciation, the Bapstism of Jesus, Gethsemane, the Crucifixion, the Resurrection and the Ascension. On this cup the story of salvation is told.
